Great result for the Polish team in the 2026 Swedish Rally

The 2026 Rally Sweden has gone down in history as one of the most demanding and technical events on the WRC calendar. This year’s edition featured 18 special stages and over 300 kilometers of competition on snow and ice, where precision, courage, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions were key.

Polish team triumphs in the WRC Masters

The competitors tackled reversed course configurations, new sections, and the extended Bygdsiljum stage – the longest and one of the most demanding stages of the rally. Every second was crucial in the fight for the final result.

 

Poland was also present among the 59 crews at the start. Michał Sołowow and Maciej Baran, driving a Toyota GR Yaris for Barlinek, demonstrated excellent pace and consistency.

 

The Polish crew finished the rally with an impressive result – victory in the WRC Masters category and 6th place in the WRC2 standings. This is further proof of their experience, determination, and excellent preparation for top-level competition.

 

The success in Sweden confirms that Michał Sołowow and Maciej Baran are among the leaders in their category, and their performance provided the fans with a thrilling and proud performance.
