The floor is factory-finished and ready for use after installation. However, it is worth remembering that the top layer is 100% natural product made of wood. Water and sand are the biggest enemies of the floors.
1. Protective mats should be placed at entrances to your home. Protect your floor by using mats outside and/or inside all entrances. Mats will collect dirt, sand, pebbles, and other solid particles and will absorb moisture. Keep mats clean. Do not use latex or rubber-backed mats on hybrid flooring, as some compounds in these materials can permanently stain or damage the floor. Mats for installation on hybrid flooring should be labeled “non-staining.”
2. All furniture and other devices that come into contact with the floor should be equipped with protective pads, e.g. felt pads, which should be replaced regularly.
3. Armchairs and other furniture with hard plastic wheels should be used on plastic protective mats. If protective mats are not used, replace them with wheels designed for hard floors, type W.
4. Floors exposed to sunlight (UV light) will change their original color.
5. The floor is factory-finished and ready for use immediately after installation.
Floor care should only be carried out using products designed for this purpose. Hybrid floor care instructions can be found at www.barlinek.com.
Never use vacuum cleaners with a brush attachment, as this could damage the floor.
Immediately remove any spills.
Vacuum or sweep the floor to remove any particles that could scratch it.
You can use a damp cloth with or without a recommended floor care product. Do not leave wet marks on the floor after cleaning.
Do not use high-pressure or steam cleaners to clean the floor.
Trim pet claws to prevent damage to the floor.
Do not move heavy furniture or equipment across the floor.
Using floor care products other than those recommended by Barlinek may damage the varnish layer, cause discoloration and gloss changes, and cause stains. Do not use wax, paraffin, or silicone-based products.
For daily maintenance, we recommend dry cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping).
Clean the floor with a mop, working along the length of the boards.
6. When using the floor, the room temperature should be between +18°C and +24°C and the relative air humidity should be between 45% and 60%
